Will I receive confirmation?

All Camp participants will receive confirmation via email - Participants will receive confirmation the week prior to the start of their selected camp. If you have any questions and need immediate confirmation please contact us via email or by calling 260-469-3024.

 

What should I expect during camp week?

MONDAY(First Day of Camp)

Check in Time:  Participants should plan on arriving approximately half an hour early on the first morning of camp.
Once checked in, each camp participant will be given a FREE NIKE Ball and a FREE NIKE Camp T-shirt.

DAILY INFORMATION:

Monday-Friday (Daily drop off)  Camp participants may be dropped off up to a half hour prior to the start of the camp.  If you need to drop off your child sooner please communicate with administration, Director(s) or a Staff member. 

Pick up Time: Parents can pick up camp participants on the field or inside the complex. We ask that you communicate with the Director and/or Staff Coach if you will be picking anyone up prior to the scheduled end of camp.

 

Lunch time : 12Noon-12:40PM (Half-Day *Fundamental Campers* are done for the day at noon)

Games: There will be World Cup 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5 games played as follows:

                         DAILY

            Half hour prior to lunch there are short sided and or full sided games played.

            An hour prior to the end of the camp, 4v4, 5v5, 6v6 WORLD CUP GAMES are played.

Wednesdays: Individual and Group challenges/games are being held throughout the day. 
                       After lunch the NIKE CUP tournament is played.

Fridays: After lunch, The World Cup tournament Finals are held and the Famous BNSS Water Balloon Fight is held the last forty five minutes of the camp. (Participants are asked to fill as many balloons as they can and bring them in coolers to camp Friday morning or dropped off at lunch).

 

Do Half Day(Fundamental Campers) participate in the Water Balloon Fight on Friday?

Half Day Fundamental Campers are invited (in fact, encouraged) to return to the camp during the last hour and participate in the popular water fight!

 

What is the protocol in the event of inclement weather?

Inclement Weather Information: Camp is ON as scheduled unless you hear from a camp instructor or the administrative office.  We also encourage parents to try the Beasley Hot Line and the Beasley Web Site, it will have announcements in case of cancellation or any time adjustments. Fort Wayne Camps at the Plex Facilities will be on regardless of weather conditions.  All campers must bring indoor flats or tennis shoes with them as another option for footwear.

 

What should I bring to Camp?

 

Full Day Campers (Academy Level 9am-5pm)
Bring your own lunch (concessions available at both Plex locations), shin guards, molded(cleats), flats(trainers), sun screen

Day Campers-Intermediate Camp(9am-3pm)
Bring your own lunch (concessions available at both Plex locations), shin guards, molded(cleats), flats(trainers), sun screen

Half Day-Fundamental Camp(9am-12 Noon)
Shin guards, molded(cleats), flats(trainers), sun screen

 

What if my child forgot to pack a lunch or wants to purchase food at the camp site?


At Plex North and South locations the concession stand will be open.  Food items (pizza, hot dogs, subway, candy, beverages, sports drinks) will be available for campers to purchase during lunch time. 

 

Will DaMarcus be at every camp site?

In spite of many International and National Team commitments, he will make every effort to personally attend as many different camp weeks as possible.  The weeks that he cannot attend, he will be able to talk to the camp participants LIVE through Video Phone capabilities.  You could be talking live to DaMarcus and his U.S. National teammates LIVE via video phone during the 2010 World Cup in South Africa!

 

What is your Coach to participant ratio?

For ages five through eight, we average 6-8 participants per Coach; Ages nine through twelve we average 8-10 per Coach and ages 13 and up we average 10-12 per Coach.

 

Are parents, guardians, family members and club coaches permitted to spectate?

We encourage parents, guardians, family members and or friends to spectate and cheer on the camp participants. There is more information available as to what happens daily and what type of activities occur throughout the week.  From fun exercises to various  games that participants take part every day, we encourage all to come out and watch.  Cheer on your son/daughter, grandchildren, niece, nephew, brother, sister, student and/or friend! Make the week festive!

 

Are there any Group/Team discounts available?     

The Beasley Naional Soccer School does provide group/team discounts, there must be a minimum of 8 campers in the group/team and all applications must be received at the same time in the same envelope to receive team rates.
