FUNDAMENTAL CAMP

CO-ED, Half Day Camps for Ages 5 through 7, Monday - Friday 9:00 AM to 12 Noon

The Fundamental Camp program concentrates on individual development during this crucial stage of learning. Our staff has created exercises and various games that are fun and are geared to educate and improve the motor skills and mechanics of the player’s game. We focus on footwork, various dribbling options at speed and in tight areas, simple passing exercises and the technique of shooting. Focusing on individual technique builds a strong foundation and a level of comfort with the ball.

FUNDAMENTAL-INTERMEDIATE CAMP

The Fundamental-Intermediate program concentrates on both individual and small group development. At this stage we continue to develop the player's technique, individual skills,footwork, dribbling, passing and shooting along with teaching simple defensive techniques and individual possession. Our Staff will also introduce small group tactics, learning group defensive techniques and how to develop combination play. The Beasley National Soccer School instructors understand all aspects of the game, not the least of which is mental preparation and strategic thinking. Understanding nonverbal cues and improving decision making skills is crucial to the game. This unique environment encourages each player to develop individual skills and decision-making abilities

ACADEMY LEVEL CAMP

Co-ed Full Day Camp:Ages 12 through 17, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm

The Academy level camp will further develop the understanding of the team concept. The training objectives of this camp will be more extensively focused on technical work, combination play and group possession. At this stage we strive to enhance the soccer maturity of the player by challenging them to read cues, act under pressure and develop a deeper understanding of the game through game-related and game-conditional situations. Our qualified Staff will continually evaluate players and provide feedback throughout the week allowing participants to refocus and execute the mechanics of what they are learning in large field activities.

STRIKER AND GOALKEEPING CAMP

Fundamental-Intermediate* Co-ed: Ages 9 through 13, Monday-Thursday
Intermediate-Advanced* Co-ed:Ages 14 through 18, Monday-Thursday

The Striker and Goalkeeping participants will work independently on their respective skills i.e.

• Various ways of striking and finishing techniques and 1v1 attacking moves for the strikers.
• Goalkeeping techniques, shot blocking, diving techniques, agility exercises to improve foot work and athleticism for goalkeepers.

In addtion they will work together with one another focusing on game-related and game-conditional activities and the proper application of skills in quickly changing tactical situations. This unique camp will challenge both the Striker and the Goalkeeper at many levels, thereby maximizing the participants camp experience.

RESIDENTIAL CAMP

The Residential Camp is geared exclusively for boys and girls ages 11 through 16. It will provide a great learning environment for those athletes who desire a more intense camp environment. Players will be evaluated on the first day, organized in groups according to skill level and trained by our highly certified Staff. There will be daily technical skill building, tactical game-related and game-conditional exercises and games. In the evening, players will enjoy team and staff games. Daily meals are provided for each camper. All campers will be placed in dormitory rooms, roommate requests will be honored. All groups will be under supervision throughout the week.
